Our aim is to contribute to providing value to the future of law enforcement, raising the standards of safety and security for society, the nation, and beyond.
Thus, ELMU became the first full-fledged university in Malaysia and across the Asian region that is dedicated to engaging, developing and delivering a holistic learning experience – providing a paradigm shift in education and research through academia and experiential learning with collaborative engagements between university-government-industry in law enforcement to shape highly-specialised professionals and future leaders of tomorrow across the spectrum of law enforcement, leadership and management.

On behalf of ELMU University and on my own behalf, I wish to express our pleasure for everyone embarking on this exciting academic journey with us.

Datuk Mohd Shahrizan is an Expert in Crisis and Disaster Management and has handled various key responsibilities including managing commercial crime, narcotic, counter terrorism, forensic and law in his 37 years of experience in the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP). He was Deputy Head of the Training Department of RMP, overseeing the management of all police training.
